We have almost finished our first week at Wilson Montessori and we are excited to tell you all about our adventures in learning! Our parent Open House will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 5:30 – 7:00pm. We will hold a general session in the auditorium from 5:30-6:00 where we will introduce new facility and staff as well as hold a general PTO meeting. We ask that parents attend the Open House without their children in order for the teachers to focus on curriculum and management items with our parents. If you are unable to find care for your child(ren), we will have babysitting provided by the YMCA in the cafeteria during the Open House.

The Wilson Montessori PTO plays a critical role in the education of our students by funding important aspects of their educational experience at Wilson.
The Start with A Bang! campaign asks families to show their support for Wilson early in the school year by giving a much appreciated donation by October 27th. These early donations allow the PTO to fund its commitments with confidence. This approach also eliminates the need to sell things door-to-door like wrapping paper and popcorn!
All of our Wilson Montessori Families are part of the PTO, so it is important to get contributions from as many families as possible. We hope that you will be as generous as you can, but any amount will help. Strong participation is viewed favorably by foundations and corporations as the school seeks further funding.
All families that contribute to the Start with a Bang! campaign by October 27th will receive a free dress pass for each child and will be recognized on the Wilson PTO website. Thank you in advance for your generous support!

There are currently 4 open PTO Board Member positions as well as a secretary position. If you have an interest in running for one of these positions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to express interest. PTO board members must attend monthly board meetings and be actively involved in our efforts throughout the year. Elections will be held during the general PTO Board Meeting on September 27th at 8:15am in the auditorium. All parents are welcome to attend the board meetings.
